July 2025 Patch Notes



Minerals now deplete visually after reaching 30%, 60% and 100% depletion!

Adjusted pulse rate for batteries and power generators, will now better power up to the number it shows (if you produce 4 power you can more reliably connect two devices requiring 2 power). 

Fixed the bug on the Credits button from the End Screen. It now loads the credits, as you'd expect, and does it properly!  It was still using the old cast system. It's 100% modernized now.

Added Day/Night cycle into the project. For right now it is set to start at Midnight so you’ll have time to unlock the solar panels before the sun comes up.

Cleaned up PowerCheck and added a selector for EnergyIcon status color changes in BP_UnitMaster. Energy Icon now turns orange when they are at 30% or less power, and red when they are at no power.

Plug Range Visualizer now spawns while placing Units.

Added another DirectionalLight called NightLight that adds ambient light to the night time scene of GameLevel01. Turned Real Time Capture on in SkyLight. Adjusted PostProcessVolume to disable eye adaptation and adjusted overall lighting levels.

Building lights now match each other based on their tier level. Goes first to Orange then Yellow, Green, Blue, and finally Cyan at tier 5.

Implemented the new audio events and made some adjustments to some of the build menu buttons audio.

Completed the removal of pause from the return button in the game menus. Pause will now only be enabled or disabled from within the game, not arbitrarily based on what menu you clicked into.

Updated the Plug Range Visualizer. Now plugs that are in range will light up bright yellow while hooking up cables or placing a Unit. Using the laser material for the plug effect.

Fully integrated our Sound FX volume slider with Game Instance so the value is saved between the main menu level and the game level. Added some more SFX events for when units are deselected or actions are cancelled

Collapsed save/load/share buttons in main menu and pause menu.

Rotated Drop ship and starting angle by 45 degrees. Added spot light to drop ship. Fixed ground check for placement to use Ground tag added to ground related objects.

Mouse controls now no longer inverted, and fixed uneven sensitivity between x and y axis.
